Hi, my name is Kacie and I’ve been creating one-of-a-kind works of art for the past twenty years, including surreal art and pet portraits. I do not have any formal training but I have been a professional artist for over a decade. I grew up in Tigard, Oregon and moved to Corona, California in 2018.
Color has been a big influence in my art. I LOVE color! I’ve always said, “If I could eat color, I would.” I’m most known for my colorful, surreal art depicting animals and nature, and more recently my photo-realistic, stippled pet portraits. I started drawing pet portraits in 2020 but I have been stippling since 2015. I imagine that I’ve stippled over 1,000,000 dots by now! I enjoy the process of stippling: it’s very rhythmic and calming, and I love the satisfaction of putting hours of work into a unique form of visual art. I think stippling is a neat style that sparks interest and conversation.
Recently, I was captivated by rhinestones and how they create a mesmerizing aura of sparkles. I became obsessed with the sparkle! I knew I had to create something fun and colorful with rhinestones so that’s why I created Aura Chroma rhinestoned jewelry.
